Phenolic Resin

Phenolic resin is also known as phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resin. It provides good acid and alkali resistance, good mechanical properties, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, flame resistance, solvent and chemical resistance. It can be used in many applications such as corrosion construction, adhesive, heat resistant material, sandpaper production. One of the most important characteristics about phenolic resin is the heat resistance. It provides very good stability even under higher temperature and therefore, it is commonly used for products such as heat resistant materials, abrasion materials, adhesives and casting.
